Cruise Night Four: 90’s Night

The last day of the cruise had finally arrived, and my sister and I wanted to savor every last moment.

Our morning was actually busy.  We had our group meet and greet, and the Backstreet Boys wore their pirate costumes from the first night.  Group photos are taken with BSB and four fans.  We were lucky to meet two really nice fans in line who took the picture with us.  I was happy that I got to stand by Nick, although I really love them all.

After the meet and greet, we headed out to the Lido deck for Nick’s BSBHQ game show.  BSB and Trivia are two of my favorite things!

It was a fun event. I weren’t picked to participate in the game, but I did know the majority of the answers.  And I got a selfie with Nick afterwards.  He is the best.

The last theme night of the cruise was 90’s night.

My sister and I went with a 90’s grunge look.  I found an awesome Tale Spin shirt from the Disney store and knew it would be perfect for 90’s night.  Bonus that I could wear it all the time.  You probably saw it in my recent Animal Kingdom photos.  It was a perfect tank to wear to Animal Kingdom, and I received a ton of compliments.  Check it out in the  Vacation First Day – Disney’s Animal Kingdom blog.

I paired it with my distressed Jessica Simpson shorts, and added torn fishnet stockings underneath.  These shorts have become one of my favorite pairs and were featured in the Summer Time Shorts blog. Of course, we had to add the black choker necklaces.  I also switched to my black Ray Ban glasses.

This was the easiest costume, and all the pieces can be re-worn since 90’s fashion is IN again.

Taking a moment for myself…

After getting fully dressed in our 90’s costumes, my sister went to the Casino to watch AJ’s blackjack tournament.  I briefly went to the casino, but it was pretty crowded and the smoke was bothering me.  After leaving the casino, I decided to take a break from the crowds.  I went up to the top deck to watch the sunset over the ocean.  There was barely anyone else up there so I enjoyed the moment of quiet.

It was definitely one of those incredible sights that you feel lucky to witness.

I have always been a huge ocean lover.  Growing up, I wanted to be a marine biologist.  I worked at a marine animal park for five years, and I spent the first two years of college studying Biology.  But, then my life got turned around and I ended up taking a different path.  I still love being able to take moments to appreciate to ocean.

After enjoying the peace and quiet for a little while, I met back up with my sister.

Each Backstreet Boy had a solo event during the cruise.  Nick’s was the trivia event BSBHQ.  Howie had done a Cinco de Howie on Cinco de Mayo.  Kevin and AJ did a preview of new music.  Kevin played BSB songs while AJ played songs from his solo record.  Brian did a game show with his with Leigh Anne and a few of their friends.

It was hilarious and so much fun.  It ended up being my favorite event.  They were giving away autographed items, casino chips, and cash.  It was exciting and just made me love the Littrells even more.

After the game show, it was time to go back to the Lido deck for the last party.  My sister and I got separated, which is NOT FUN on a cruise with no cell service.  In the future, I am going to make her get a wifi plan so we can message each other.  I had the social plan where you could use social media, but she did not.  After over an hour, I finally found her.  The Backstreet Boys came out dressed as The Spice Girls, and it was epic.

I was sad when the cruise came to an end, but it was my favorite one yet.  It was my 5th Backstreet Boys cruise, and I think it was the best one!
